Former President Donald J. Trump sat down Tuesday evening with daughter-in-law and wife to son Eric, Lara Trump, in his first on-camera interview since departing from the White House. The newly hired political pundit for Fox News and the 45th President of the United States discussed a wide variety of topics ranging from the crisis at the Southern Border to a potential Donald Trump Presidential run in 2024.

The interview started off with a simple question for her father-in-law: “How are you?”

“It’s been great”, said Trump. “It’s a beautiful state. It’s a well run state”.

Donald Trump and Florida Governor Ron DeSantis share similar policy views and are famous for their outspokenness and ability to “tell it like it is”. DeSantis is popular possible vice presidential candidate amongst Conservatives in their discussion of 2024.

Donald and Lara Trump talked about Big Tech censorship, “Cancel Culture” and whether the creation of a new social media platform is a possibility.

“We are censored on social media..They haven’t given the same treatment or scrutiny to Joe Biden. We should be demanding transparency”, declared Lara. “Cancelling Mr. Potato Head and Dr. Seuss is what the woke left cares about”.

“It’s incredible. It’s a pretty sad situation. We don’t have freedom of the press anymore”, Donald Trump responded. “We have a corrupt press…that wants to sell a point of view”.

Lara referenced the immensely negative media coverage Donald Trump received after his speech at West Point Military Academy when he “took his time” to walk down the airplane ramp with “no handles” on each side in poor weather conditions. She compared that event to Joe Biden’s “slip up the stairs” to board Air Force One which “got almost no coverage” from mainstream media outlets.

For example, The New York Times published an article in June 2020 stating that “President Trump faced new questions about his health…after videos emerged of him gingerly walking down a ramp at the U.S. Military Academy at West Point and having trouble bringing a glass of water to his mouth during a speech there”.

After Biden’s trip up the Air Force One staircase this month, the New York Times published an article putting their media bias on full display. “Nothing more than a misstep on the stairs”, they said.

Donald Trump recalled his day at West Point Military Academy as “beautiful, but raining” and described walking down the slippery and poorly set up ramp.

“It was like sheet of steel, no pleats in it-nothing. It was like an ice-skating rink. A sheet of ice. They made such a big deal and they never covered my speech. Never even discussed it. All they have is me walking down this ramp inch by inch. This guy falls down 3 times. He gets up and doesn’t even know where the hell he was”, said Trump. “I hope [Joe] is okay for the sake of the country”, said the former President.

The two also discussed the Hunter Biden laptop story and the media’s refusal to cover the controversial topic pre-election, which resulted in a ten point difference from Joe Biden supporters according to post-election polls.

“When they didn’t show any of that during the campaign.. to me that was really the beginning. It’s been fake for a long time. You have something and they won’t put it out, whether it’s scandalous or good news”, said Mr. Trump.

He further stated he isn’t affected by his Twitter ban because “social media is becoming so corrupt” that “people aren’t believing it anymore”. He also referenced his new found love for press releases which he says is “more elegant and getting the word out about the same.”

Donald and Lara also discussed the Biden Administration’s controversial new policies and executive orders reversing many successful Trump-era decisions. “It’s very bad for our country”, stated Mr. Trump. “They really lied during the campaign about a lot of things.”

President Donald Trump waves after speaking and touring a section of the border wall in Alamo, Texas on January 12, 2021.

“In three months from now we won’t be energy independent. Defund the police, open borders..look at our borders. The wall could have been finished in a matter of times, weeks. The wall is the best thing. We built almost 500 miles of wall. In one day [Biden] said ‘everybody come up’. What’s going on right now is nothing compared to what’s going to happen this summer”, he continued.

Donald Trump also thinks that China and Russia are “very happy now” with how the United States is presenting itself so far during the Biden administration.

“They’re looking at what is going on and they don’t believe it. They don’t believe what is happening. Can you believe that China is looking at us and Dr. Seuss is the big news of the day?”

President Donald Trump shakes hands with North Korea’s leader Kim Jong Un following a meeting in Hanoi on Feb. 27, 2019.

“You see what’s going on right now. China treated our representatives last week in Alaska with such tremendous disrespect. They never talked to me that way”, noted Trump. “You look at North Korea, I get along with Kim Jong-un. And for 4 years we had no problem. I was told by President Obama and everybody else that North Korea was our biggest problem. We were going to end up in war with North Korea if that group stayed in. And for 4 years we had no problem with North Korea. Now, all of sudden, you see the problem is starting up again.”

Donald Trump was the first President to be invited by Kim Jong-un into the country and set foot onto North Korean soil.

In her final question, Lara asked her father-in-law whether we can expect to see him running for President again in 2024.

“You do have hope, that I can tell you. You do have hope. We love our country. We all owe a lot to our country, but now we have to help our country”, Donald Trump replied.

The 45th President also stated he will be holding another Trump rally “relatively soon”.

“I love doing them. I can tell if we’re going to win a state by a rally”, he said.

At the time of publishing this article, Lara has posted to her Instagram an alleged response from what looks like a teamember at Facebook/Instagram regarding her interview with President Donald Trump stating:
